Education and Training:

You can work as a bookmaker's clerk without formal qualifications, but employers usually require at least Year 10. You will probably get some informal training on the job.

Additional Information:

The minimum age for a bookmaker's clerk in WA is 18. You must also be licensed by the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor for all three codes and by the host racing club. A current Police Clearance Certificate must also be provided. For further information, contact the department.
