Bookmaker's Clerk (QLD)
Education and Training:
You can work as a bookmaker's clerk without formal qualifications, but employers usually require at least Year 10. You will probably get some informal training on the job.
Additional Information:
The minimum age for a bookmaker's clerk in Queensland is 18. You must also be licensed by Racing Queensland for thoroughbred racing, the Queensland Harness Racing Board for harness racing and Greyhounds Queensland (www.greyhoundsqueensland.com.au) for greyhound racing.
